Terms of Service

1. The service

Category King is a paid advertising leaderboard operated by Dynamic Alpha LLC. A successful bid purchases a promotional listing and outbound link in the selected category. Category King is not an investment, auction house, fundraising platform, or promise of financial return.

2. Bids and placement

• Each bid is a one-time, non-recurring payment in US dollars.
• A listing becomes active only after Stripe confirms payment.
• The highest confirmed bid holds the category crown. The highest confirmed bid overall holds the Emperor placement.
• Confirmed payments are cumulative bid credit for the same normalized website domain in the same category. A later bid charges only the top-up needed to reach the submitted effective bid.
• Bid credit has no cash value, cannot be transferred between websites or categories, and may be reduced when an underlying payment is refunded or reversed.
• A placement normally remains visible until it is outbid, removed under these terms, or the service ends.
• Category King does not guarantee a placement duration, number of clicks, impressions, conversions, or business results.

3. Your listing

You must be at least 18 and authorized to promote the submitted website. You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, ownership, and safety of the website and listing content you submit.

4. Prohibited content

Listings may not promote illegal activity, fraud, malware, phishing, deceptive claims, harassment, hate, sexual exploitation, intellectual-property infringement, impersonation, or products that violate Stripe’s rules. Dynamic Alpha LLC may reject, suspend, or remove a listing that creates legal, security, payment, or reputational risk.

5. Refunds

Being outbid is an expected part of the service and is not, by itself, grounds for a refund. Refunds may be issued for duplicate charges, a verified technical failure that prevents activation, removal caused solely by Category King’s error, or where required by law. Chargebacks or payment fraud may result in immediate removal.

6. Availability and liability

The service is provided on an “as available” basis. To the maximum extent allowed by law, Dynamic Alpha LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, or for the content and conduct of third-party websites. Total liability related to a listing will not exceed the amount paid for that listing.

7. Changes and contact

These terms may be updated for future purchases. The version accepted at checkout applies to that purchase. Business contact information is available through Dynamic Alpha LLC.
