Information collected

Category King receives listing information you submit, including a website URL, company or product name, description, category, and bid amount. Stripe processes checkout contact and payment information. Category King does not receive or store full card numbers.

For security and public click counts, the service may process IP-derived hashes, browser user-agent data, referring pages, timestamps, and Cloudflare Turnstile verification results.

To show the live audience and total visitor counters, Category King assigns an anonymous random identifier in a first-party cookie and records when that browser was first and most recently active. This visitor record does not contain your name, email address, IP address, or browsing activity on other websites.

How information is used

• To create, rank, display, and link paid listings.
• To process payments, refunds, disputes, and customer support.
• To count clicks, limit abuse, investigate fraud, and protect the platform.
• To display anonymous online-now and total-visitor counts.
• To comply with legal, tax, accounting, and payment-network requirements.

Service providers

Category King uses Stripe for payments, Supabase for application data, Vercel for hosting, and Cloudflare for abuse prevention. These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies.

Retention and choices

Public listing and bid records may remain visible as historical leaderboard entries. Payment and transaction records are retained as required for accounting, fraud prevention, disputes, and legal compliance. You may request correction or deletion of eligible personal information; some transaction records cannot be deleted when retention is legally required.
